South Jordan chiropractors who treat shoulder bursitis appreciate online endorsements from non-chiropractic websites that help educate Salt Lake City people about the effectiveness of chiropractic treatment for this painful condition. I came across one such endorsement the other day.

In an article entitled ‘Chiropractic Treatment for Shoulder Bursitis,’ on the Lance Armstrong Foundation website author Ron Rogers recommends chiropractic treatment for this condition that affects hundreds of South Jordan men and women.

Rogers explains that chiropractic treatment can help increase mobility, reduce muscle imbalance and improve posture. Here are some excerpts from the livestrong article:

‘As a healthcare practitioner that focuses on body mechanics and movement disorders, a chiropractor may be an excellent resource for the person suffering from shoulder bursitis.’

‘If muscle imbalances are present, the chiropractor can help design an appropriate exercise plan, or use taping techniques to assist in recovery.’

‘A chiropractic evaluation will usually include a motion assessment at the site of pain as well as a regional assessment of motion. In the case of the shoulder, this would include the ball and socket joint, the joints of the collar bone and the shoulder blade, as well as the cervical and thoracic spine joints. If this evaluation reveals reduced mobility in any of these joints, mobilization or manipulation may be an important part of the treatment plan.’
